Housing growth leads to consultancy expansion

An environmental consultancy has created a new director of planning post to help it meet growing housing demand.

Taran Livingston, who has been promoted from associate to fill the new director of environmental planning post at LUC, told Planning: “Many local authorities can't meet their own housing needs and are relooking at options for expanding urban areas.

"We are doing capacity and urban-edge studies and sustainability appraisals.”

LUC has also promoted to associate director posts planner Rebecca Knight and environmental planners Juliette Young and Sarah Young.
