Consultancy expands on back of economic recovery

A planning consultancy celebrating its 30th anniversary is also celebrating a continuing upturn in business with the recruitment of two senior staff.

Planner Nigel Pugsley (left) joins Terence O'Rourke's Bournemouth office as an associate director having formerly held the associate director title post at BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Jon Sheldon (right) joins the company's London office as senior planner and joins from at AECOM. Specialisms include listed building consents and planning policy representations. 

Managing director Tim Hancock told Planning: “Our planning success rate currently stands at 97%, a figure which has no doubt contributed to our long-standing position.”

He said the company was currently working for clients including Bournemouth Development Company, the University of Surrey and Warner Bros.
