Two new associate directors for planning consultancy

Planning consultancy Marrons Planning has promoted two planners to associate directors.

Chartered planner Sachin Parmar (pictured) joins the Leicester office, having spent two years with Marrons Planning, most recently as a principal planner.

He has previously worked as a senior planning officer at East Staffordshire Borough Council, and a senior planning officer at Broxtowe Borough Council in Nottinghamshire.

Chartered planner Karen Brightman joins the Leicester office as an associate director, leaving her previous role as a development management team leader at Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire.

George Smith joins the Stratford-upon-Avon office as a senior planner, leaving his role as a senior planner at Cherwell District Council in Oxfordshire, where he spent more than six years.

Marrons Planning is a subsidiary of law firm Shakespeare Martineau.
