Turley appoints two directors to Birmingham office
Planning consultancy Turley has appointed two directors to its Birmingham office.
The newly created positions are part of Turley Birmingham’s growth plans, which are linked to a recovering local market and come on the back of a number of large instructions, the firm said.
Mathew Jones joins Turley as director after a 12-year stint at Drivers Jonas/Deloitte. For the past five years he was the company’s director, and latterly head of its planning team.
Angela Reeve is due to start in early May as a director. She also joins from Drivers Jonas, where she has worked since 2004, and has held the position of assistant director since 2009.
The appointments come as Turley sees increasing activity locally. Growth areas include the retail, commercial and residential sectors.
Recent instructions include residential schemes for Miller Homes, Bellway Homes and Catesby. It is also promoting a sustainable urban extension to the north east of Birmingham.
The firm said the Birmingham office is also undertaking work related to the Mell Square Shopping Centre in Solihull, and the final phase of Snowhill office development in Birmingham City Centre’s enterprise zone.
