Planning consultancy Turley has strengthened its team in its Cardiff office with the appointment of director Neil Denison.

Denison moves from engineering and technical consulting firm WYG, where he was a director in its Cardiff, Bristol and Manchester offices.

He has 26 years’ experience, advising on complex large development and infrastructure projects in the private and public sectors, including securing permission for infrastructure works to upgrade the venue hosting the sailing events of the 2012 London Olympic Games at Osprey Quay, Portland.

He has also secured over 40 permissions for new Aldi food stores in the Midlands, South West and South East of England.

Rob Peters, executive director of Turley, said: “Neil’s experienced track record and high level of technical knowledge will be a major asset in helping us to deliver our growing workload across Wales, the Midlands and the South West.”
