Planning consultancy Terence O’Rourke has bolstered its team with five appointments.

The company said that the expansion is the result of an increase in business, having taken on new projects around the UK.

Simon Ible joins the company as assistant planner after completing a degree in town and country planning at the University of West England.

Tom Southgate becomes senior planner, joining from consultancy New Earth Solutions Group where he worked on waste and energy applications.

Prior to that he worked for Poole Borough Council, and also worked for a spell at the South East Regional Development Agency.

Sarah Pullen becomes planning assistant, joining from consultancy Platinum Property Partners.

Luke Vallins takes up a similar role, after gaining a masters in development planning from the University of Reading.

Mark Caunter joins as a CAD technician.

The appointments take the number of staff appointed by Terence O’Rourke this year to 11.
