Storey returns to North East with Barton Willmore
Phil Storey has joined the Newcastle office of planning consultancy Barton Willmore.
Storey, who worked for a brief spell in the company’s Ebbsfleet office, joined the firm as a senior planner from London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.
He brings with him expertise in commercial schemes – particularly storage and distribution facilities – and has also worked on residential, leisure and listed buildings.
Storey said: “Following almost five years living in and around London, I am delighted to be moving back to the north east – an area I have always retained a strong connection with and which will always be home”.
While at Barking & Dagenham, he served as a development management officer. This followed stints for Derwentside District Council in County Durham and developer Fairhurst in Leeds.
He has a bachelor’s degree in town planning and a diploma in planning and urban design, both from University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
