Stewart takes on Saxonby planning role

Shrewsbury housebuilder Saxonby has appointed Alistair Stewart to the role of planning consultant.

Stewart joins the firm from Persimmon Homes in Peterborough, where he was a graduate planner.

Saxonby Land & Planning Services co-founder and director Andrew Copson said: “We have given Alistair complete freedom to shape his role to the benefit of himself, the pre-contract team and the company, with the long-term aim of his becoming the land & planning services director.”

Stewart holds bachelors and masters degrees in urban studies and planning from the Unviersity of Sheffield.

He also worked previously as a volunteer planning policy officer at Shropshire Council.
