Smith takes on planning chief brief at Barking and Dagenham

Marilyn Smith has taken on the role of head of planning and assurance at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Smith had been working in an interim position at the council for a year. Prior to joining the east London council she was chief planning officer at the London Borough of Hounslow.
