Singleton heads up planning at Murphy

Mark SingletonMultidisciplinary engineering and construction company Murphy has made Mark Singleton group head of planning and project controls.

Singleton (pictured) joins from Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK, where he was head of planning for its major infrastructure division.

Based in Kentish Town, north London, he will be responsible for leading planning and project controls across the group and has 28 years of experience with major infrastructure contractors.

Elsewhere, Miles Cobley takes up the role of head of planning and project controls in the north.

He joins from Laing O’Rourke and is based at Murphy’s Golborne office in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
