Andrew Pepler, Indigo Planning

Town planning consultancy Indigo Planning has appointed Andrew Pepler to its board of directors.

Andrew joins the company from supermarket chain Sainsbury’s, where he acted as town planning manager, working on applications for new developments across London, the South East and the East of England.

He also managed the delivery of consents for new distribution space across the UK, particularly related to the retailer’s online business.

Simon Neate, chairman of Indigo Planning, said: “Retail has always been an important part of Indigo Planning’s business and Andrew’s appointment further strengthens our senior team in this area.

“His strategic planning background, with particular focus on national policy, London planning, community infrastructure levy, and energy and sustainability will also be a great asset – both to our clients and the board.”

Pepler will be based in the firm’s Wimbledon office and work on retail, energy, commercial and mixed-use developments with a focus on London and the South East.
