Property consultancy JLL has promoted Brigid Ryan to senior planning consultant in its planning and renewables team in Glasgow.
The move is one of ten promotions the firm is making in Scotland across the whole business.
Chartered planner Ryan moves from her previous position of chartered planning consultant, in which she had served since December 2013.
Alasdair Humphery, lead director in Scotland for JLL, said that the promotions were intended to help retain talent in order to meet client expectations.
Prior to joining JLL, Ryan worked as a graduate planner at chartered surveying firm Graham & Sibbald.
She had previously worked in a voluntary role as assistant planner at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, alongside a paid position as a property consultant at chartered surveyor Ballantynes.
She has also worked as a volunteer for Planning Aid for Scotland.
Ryan has a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Heriot-Watt University.
