Robinson takes part time role at CBRE

Stuart Robinson CBREStuart Robinson is stepping down from his role as chairman and head of planning at property consultancy CBRE to focus on a new part time role.

Robinson will now work in a consultancy capacity on the firm’s One London proposition and advising on their public sector engagement strategy.

He will also maintain his current role leading CBRE’s research into placemaking and developing a business plan in this area for the practice.

A statement from the firm said that Robinson would now also take up opportunities outside of the firm relating to planning issues, particularly in the public sector.

He has been in his current role for 34 years, beginning his career focusing on retail development.

During the past 10-15 years he has focused on major projects in London Kings Cross Central and Regent Street.

He has spent three decades at CBRE and was shortlisted for “London’s Planner of the Year” in 2013.
