Residential and retail work leads to SCP expansion
Transportation planning and infrastructure design consultancy SCP is expanding by appointing two regional directors, Steven Carmody in Leeds and John Russell in London.
Carmody, who joined from AECOM, works in Leeds with fellow regional director Geoff Bowman.
Speaking to Planning Bowman said: “Expansion reflects the improving economy; developers are emerging and there is a fair amount of residential and food retail work out there".
Russell, who joins SCP from engineering and project management consultancy Royal HaskoningDHV, will work alongside director Jim Budd to support expanding workload in the region from the company's new premises at Southampton Row, near Holborn.
SCP was established 16 years ago employs more than 25 staff across the Leeds, Manchester and London offices combined.
