Property consultancy GL Hearn has expanded its London strategy team to tackle rising workloads.

Katrine Dean has joined the firm from the London Borough of Camden as senior planner.

This follows the appointment late last year of Max Goode who joined from CH2M HILL and Alix de Nercy from the University of Westminster, both of whom became assistant planners.

Managing director Brian Sloggett told Planning: “We have ambitious plans to capitalise on our success in London.

“Other parts of the country are now also starting to see significant increases in development activity as the UK’s economic recovery takes hold.

“Developers in private and public sectors are ramping up activity to meet Britain’s housing and infrastructure needs.”
