Phillips Planning Services' director Al Morrow told Planning: “We are enjoying increasing workloads at the practice; there seems to be more confidence.”

The firm is seeking to recruit planners and senior planners to work on a range of applications from the company's base in Bedford.

The practice has been running for more than 20 years and covers urban and rural planning for private and public sector clients for residential, commercial, leisure, minerals and waste and conservation schemes.

Recent projects included planning work for redeveloping redundant listed barns in Roxton, Bedfordshire (pictured) and the modernising of Bedford Modern school.
