Planning consultancy Planning Potential has announced a raft of promotions - including two appointments to director level.

In a statement today, the firm said that Alastair Close (pictured) had been promoted to director from associate director at its London office.

Close has “extensive experience advising national retailers, commercial operators, investment funds and private individuals”, the firm said.

Dan Templeton has also been promoted to director at Planning Potential’s Bristol office where he was previously a consultant.

The firm said that Templeton has worked as a planning consultant for over 15 years, working on schemes including the development of the Cabot Circus and Temple Quay schemes in Bristol and the St. David’s 2 retail scheme in Cardiff.

The firm has also promoted two planners to senior planner promotions. Grace Mollart has been promoted to senior planner at the company’s London office and Sam Deegan becomes a senior planner at its Harrogate branch.

Elsewhere, the firm has promoted Jamie Pert from planning assistant to planner at the firm’s Harrogate office and Marsha Badon, also from planning assistant to planner, at the firm’s Bristol office.
