Planning consultancy appoints associate planner

Carl PittamA planning consultancy has appointed an associate planner at its London base.

Steer Davies Gleave has recruited Carl Pittam from sustainable transport charity Sustrans.

According to the firm, Pittam's expertise lies in local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) and he also worked on proposals for the development of a new River Thames Bridge from Canary Wharf to Rotherhithe. 

“He will support the planning team in creating solutions for clients in counties, cities, combined authorities and LEP social enterprise partnerships,” said head of planning, Sharon Daly.
