Planning consultancy Cerda is set to open a new office in the East Midlands.
The new office is in Castle Donington, Leicestershire, and will be headed up by newly promoted director Richard West.
It will offer planning services, including site appraisals, planning permissions and appeals, and local plan representation.
The consultancy said it now has a total of 10 planners with another set to join the team next month.
Cerda was formed in 2008 and its first office is in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.
