Planning consultancy appoints new planner

Urban planning consultancy, Hybrid Planning & Development has appointed a new planner.

Alex Wright, an urban design specialist, joins the London-based firm as a planner, having achieved his BSc in urban planning. Wright has also completed his masters degree in urban design and city planning from University College London (UCL).

Wright is a licentiate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and, according to the firm, plans to complete his training and apply for full RTPI membership while working at Hybrid.

Wright was previously a planning policy officer at Runnymede Borough Council in Surrey and before that, was an assistant planner at planning consultancy Quod.

His appointment takes Hybrid’s team to nine.
