Planning consultancy Boyer has appointed a new associate director.
Simon Atha joins the firm, leaving his previous role as associate at planning consultancy Cerda Planning.
According to Boyer, Atha will join its midlands office and will work on strategic residential land promotion, hospitality, leisure, retail and commercial development projects.
His previous roles include planning manager and principal planning officer at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, planning officer at Broadland District Council and assistant planner at planning consultancy Emery Planning.
According to Boyer, Atha also works as an assessor for the Royal Town Planning Institute’s Assessment of Professional Competence, part of the qualification process for planners aiming to achieve chartered status.
