Planner Evans promoted at architecture firm

Guy Evans. Cassidy + AshtonChartered town planner Guy Evans has been promoted to a director in the Chester office of North West architectural practice Cassidy + Ashton.

Evans steps up after serving since 2009 as an associate at the firm, undertaking project management, client liaison and business development.

He will bring his experience of preparing planning documentation and masterplanning major sites to the new role.

Evans joined the firm from property consultancy Carter Jonas, where he worked in the western region planning team.

He started his career in 1996 at Bournemouth property agent Goadsby, also as an associate.

In 1995, he gained a master’s degree in environmental planning from Liverpool John Moores University, which followed a bachelor’s degree in geographical science from the University of Portsmouth.
