Planning and environmental consultancy Terence O'Rourke has strengthened its team by appointing two new planners in its Bournemouth office.

The firm, which is celebrating its 30th year of operations this year, will see Laura Black (pictured left) and Sophia Goodhead (right) join as planning assistants.

Black has been recruited from Winchester County Council, where she dealt with planning applications and enforcement matters.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from University College London (UCL) and will contribute to commercial, residential and leisure projects, as well as organising public exhibitions.

Goodhead has returned to the team as a planning assistant after completing work experience at the firm during her geography degree course at the University of West England (UWE).

Terence O’Rourke is sponsoring her whilst she works towards RTPI accreditation and a postgraduate urban planning course at UWE.
