Nexus Planning has appointed Helen Hartley to the post of senior planner in its Manchester office. She joined from Armstrong Rigg Planning in Bedford.

Hartley's appointment is the latest in a series of hires at the Manchester office. Damien Cutting recently joined as a senior planner and Justin Cove was promoted to associate director.

Nexus also recently expanded its London office, with the appointment of Rob Pearson as director, Tom Hyde as a senior consultant and James Singer as a senior planner.

Director Peter Tooher said: “Our Manchester team continues to grow as we benefit from strong working relationships with clients across the private and public sectors".

Hartley said her range of experience included delivering commercial, residential and mixed-use planning projects.
