NJL recruits two staff to new Leeds office

NJL Crolla and PleasantConsultancy NJL Consulting has made to new appointments to work out of its new Leeds office.

The firm, which has a head branch in Manchester, says that it has opened up a second office after strong performance in the past 12 months.

Rob Crolla (pictured left) joins as director and Nick Pleasant (right) as senior planner – both from the Leeds office of Indigo Planning.

Nick Lee, managing director of NJL Consulting, said: “We’ve done a lot of work across Yorkshire over the years so it makes sense for us to have a second base in the heart of the region and Leeds is a great central location for us.”

Crolla has also worked as town planning manager for supermarket chain Asda as well as an associate at consultancy Roger Tym & Partners.

He has a master’s degree in planning from the University of Newcastle. 

Pleasant formerly worked as a planner in the now-defunct Government Office for the North East. He has a postgraduate diploma and bachelors in town planning from University of Newcastle.
