Nexus appoints new associate director for Manchester

Planning consultancy Nexus Planning has appointed an associate director in its Manchester office.

Matt Dugdale will work alongside executive director Peter Tooher in the firm’s Castlefield office. He leaves his previous role as an associate at multidisciplinary consultancy WSP.

According to Nexus, his clients have included housebuilders Seddon, Barratt, Bellway, Miller and Russell and developers Brookhouse, HIMOR, Investar and Peel. He has advised on The Trafford College Group’s redevelopment of Stockport College and Investar’s associated mixed-use Royal George Village.

Dugdale began his career in local government working for West Lancashire Borough Council and St Helens Borough Council. He is also a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI’s) North West regional activities committee.
