Peter Brett Associates has appointed Gillian Whitfield as principal planner in its Manchester office.
Whitfield joins from West Lancashire Council where she had served as assistant strategic planning and implementation manager since January last year.

She had worked her way up to the role after joining the council in 2008 as an area planner, subsequently becoming a planner and then a principal planner.
Bernard Greep, equity director and head of PBA’s Manchester office, said: “We have an increasingly strong pipeline of work including a wide range of projects for national house builders, landowners, investors and retail clients, and we are pleased that Gillian will help us deliver these projects.”
