New head of planning for East Lothian Council

Michaela Sullivan

The chair of the Scottish Property Federation has stepped down to join East Lothian Council as head of planning services and economic development.

Michaela Sullivan has been the chair of the Scottish Property Federation, the membership organisation for the Scottish real estate industry, since November 2020.

Sullivan, a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, was formerly the director of group land and planning at property developer CALA Group. She has also worked as head of planning at ports operator Forth Ports and assistant chief planner for the Scottish Government between 2004 and 2006.
