Avison Young promotes principal planner to associate director

Planning consultancy Avison Young has promoted a principal planner to associate director.

Ed Harvey, who has been with the firm since 2019, has been promoted to associate director.

Before joining Avison Young, Harvey was a senior planning associate at developer McCarthy and Stone and before that a senior planner at planning consultancy CBRE UK. He has also been a development planner at engineering consultancy Fairhurst.

Harvey has a degree in town and country planning from the University of Manchester and has been a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2013.
