Planning consultancy Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners (NLP) has appointed Neil Goldsmith as its new London office leader.

The company said that Goldsmith, who has worked for NLP in London for 20 years, will oversee the strategic operation of its largest office.

Goldsmith’s predecessor Nick Thompson has been made head of major projects and design at NLP.

The firm said that Goldsmith has played an important role in growing its London office over the last two decades and has worked on many high profile projects in the retail, leisure and education sectors.

NLP managing director James Fennell said: “NLP is engaged in increasing our overall presence in the London marketplace.

“Neil's appointment represents and reflects this momentum as we look to build on our growth and tap into new sectors across the South East.”
