London-based consultancy expands top team

One Lansdowne RoadPlanning consultancy Martin Robeson Planning Practice (MRPP) is looking to take on a director or associate director as part of a practice expansion to cope with rising workloads. 

Chairman Martin Robeson told Planning: “Business is expanding fast. This is fuelled by projects like the 917-unit residential and 240,000 square foot office One Lansdowne Road scheme in Croydon" (pictured). 

“If MRPP gets permission it will be one of the highest residential buildings in Europe; and all on half a hectare of land.” 

Robeson added that the London-based practice has enjoyed a string of recent consents across the capital, the south east and East Anglia.

The firm is looking increase its planning team of 10 staff by appointing a new director or associate director.

Robeson said that the postholder would "develop strategies for complex proposals and maximise prospects of securing permissions for major commercial and residential schemes.”

The firm's clients include major retailers, investors, property and development companies, estate owners and house builders.
