Morphet takes up new role at St Albans Council
Charlotte Morphet (pictured above speaking, right) has left her role as principal policy planner at the London Borough of Waltham Forest to join St Albans City and District Council as its planning policy and design team leader.
She spent more than three years at Waltham Forest Council, working on the local plan and site allocations.
Morphet is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a trustee and director of the Planning Officers Society (POS), and chair of POS NOVUS, the network for public servants across England who are at the earlier stages of their planning careers.
In 2012, Morphet co-founded the Women in Planning network to increase the profile of women across the planning profession. She is now part of its leadership team.
