DTZ appoints senior consultant

The former area manager for government housing and regeneration agency the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) for the Liverpool city region and Cheshire, Rhian Davitt-Jones, has joined property consultancy DTZ as a senior consultant in its planning team.

Davitt-Jones will provide strategic planning and development advice to clients across the North West, and will be based in the firm’s Manchester office.

She joined the HCA in 2011, where she managed housing and regeneration projects, including the delivery of HCA land at Sandymoor, Runcorn for a residential scheme.

Prior to that, she worked as bid manager at Barratt Developments, as a development project manager at Hastoe Housing association and as a planning consultant at planning and surveying firm Edmund Kirby.

She started her career in planning as a planning assistant at Warrington Borough Council in 2007.

Davitt-Jones gained a masters in town and regional planning from the University in Liverpool in 2009 and gained MRTPI status last year.
