Bunting appointed to key BCSC role

Giulia Bunting, planning director at consultancy GL Hearn, has been appointed as junior vice president of the British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC).

Bunting joined the BCSC executive board in 2014 and also sits on the planning working group.

She told Planning that she plans to increase the profile of planning within the organisation in her new role.

Bunting previously served on the government taskforce set up by BCSC to examine the future of the High Street.

Prior to joining GL Hearn, Bunting served as head of planning at consultancy Drivers Jonas Deloitte. Prior to that, she worked for the Royal Borough of Kingston on Thames and Suffolk District Coastal District Council.
