Moloney hired to lead Carter Jonas masterplanning team
Property consultancy Carter Jonas has appointed Conor Moloney as head of its masterplanning team.
Moloney joins the team from architectural practice BDP, where he was senior urban designer.
Moloney is a member of the Design Council/Cabe’s built environment expert panel, with a role to mentor design procurement.
James Bainbridge, head of planning and development at the firm said that the appointment would enable the firm to give better advice on unlocking development opportunities.
Moloney spent a spell as head of sustainable places at renewable development firm Bioregional.
Prior to that, he worked as a senior associate at Urban Initiatives Studio, where he worked on large estate regeneration and urban extension projects, including the Aylesbury Estate in London and Dublin’s first eco town, Clonburris.
Moloney has a master’s degree in international planning from the Bartlett School of Planning at University College London, in addition to a master’s in human geography from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s in architecture from University College Dublin.
