Midlands council recruits planning manager

A local authority in the Midlands has recruited a new planning manager to lead on preparation and implementation of spatial policy and district local plans.

Lichfield Borough Council has taken on Ashley Baldwin from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to help prepare national, regional and sub-regional spatial policies.

Development executive Craig Jordan told Planning: “There's a big focus on housing but also employment and Ashley will help us meet demands on the service.”
