Marrons Planning appoints senior planner

Leicester-based consultancy Marrons Planning has appointed a new senior planner.

According to the firm, Lizzie Beresford joins from Rugby Borough Council where she was a member of both its development strategy and development management team for seven years.

Marrons said that Beresford has experience “across a range of contentious development management and strategic planning work, from conservation and heritage considerations and local plan-making to enforcement work and processing of planning applications”.

The firm added that Beresford would help it “meet growing demand for strategic planning advice in the region”.
