Macinnes takes on interim Ashford planning chief post

Gilian Macinnes has joined Ashford Borough Council as its interim head of planning and development.

According to the council, her role includes responsibility for: plan making and master-planning strategic sites and urban design; planning policy and the local plan; and development management.

Macinnes is also a director at her own planning consultancy Gilian Macinnes Associates. Previous posts include a period as head of planning at Sevenoaks District Council.
