A London planning consultancy is looking to enlarge its team following a rise in workloads in the capital and wider South East.

Martin Robeson Planning Practice (MRPP) chairman Martin Robeson told Planning: “This year has seen a string of consents secured across London, the south east and East Anglia and we are expanding our practice.”

Robeson said that MRPP planned to increase the number of planners at the firm to seven.

“In order to be effective across challenging major mixed-use and large-scale residential schemes, we need to grow”, said Robeson, (pictured far right).

The firm looking to recruit a director/associate director at its central London base to tackle work from retailers, investors, property and development companies, estate owners and house builders.

According to the company, the role will include developing strategies for complex proposals, maximising prospects of securing permissions for major commercial and residential schemes and preparing planning, retail and economic assessments.
