Littlejohn takes on Heads of Planning Scotland mantle

David Littlejohn, head of planning and regeneration at Perth & Kinross Council has taken up the position of chair of Heads of Planning Scotland.

Littlejohn, a chartered town planner, spent his early career in local government planning before joining planning & economic development consultant EDAW.

He then worked for Scottish Enterprise as a senior manager and in 2003 worked on the delivery of a major coastal communities regeneration project in Aberdeenshire.

In 2005 he became a director at Scottish Enterprise with responsibility for business infrastructure and development projects in Aberdeen.

He joined Perth & Kinross in 2010, where his key focus is securing investment in infrastructure to support growth.

Littlejohn is also a board member of Perth College, part of the University of the Highlands and Islands.
