Housebuilder Linden Homes has appointed Jennifer Winyard as strategic land and planning manager with responsibility for the north of England.

Winyard joins Linden from concultancy Turley Associates, where she was a senior planner for seven years.

She is currently chair of the Yorkshire and North East branch of Women in Property, as well as vice-chair of the Royal Town Planning Institute Yorkshire Regional Activities Committee and a member of its Regional Management Board.

Linden said that Winyard will report to divisional managing director Tom Nicholson and will be responsible for identifying new land opportunities and securing planning on sites within the company’s existing strategic land portfolio.

Winyard replaces Andy Byrne who has been promoted to land director at Linden Homes North.

Nicholson said: “We’re very pleased to have Jennifer on board as such as active member of the property and development profession. She will be a real asset as we set our sights on further growth.

“Her job will be to identify and secure land where Linden Homes can sustainably develop the high quality homes that the UK desperately needs for families and the wider economy.”
