PlanningJobs.co.uk, the UK's leading jobsite serving planning professionals, today announced its acquisition of niche jobs site TownplanningJobs.

The move means that jobseekers can now expect to find almost all planning vacancies via one single service and advertisers can reach a larger market in a more cost-efficient way.

TownPlanningJobs is a site for junior to mid-level planning roles in both the public and private sectors.  Launched in 2013, the site now attracts over 40,000 website views per month, and has a Twitter following of 7,000 industry professionals.

PlanningJobs.co.uk typically has 220,000 page views per month, and a focus on mid- to senior-level recruitment. It is part of the Planning group, owned by Haymarket Business Media.

Following the acquisition, PlanningJobs.co.uk will be able to offer its advertisers almost 20 per cent more traffic – with over 260,000 page views per month available across the two sites.

Registered job seekers on TownPlanningJobs will now also receive email alerts from PlanningJobs.co.uk

"This deal will help simplify the process for jobseekers by bringing together almost all of the UK's planning vacancies in one place,” said Haymarket Business Media energy and environment director Philip Swinden.

“It also enables us to provide even better value for our advertisers by giving them to access to TownPlanningJobs’ monthly traffic of more than 40,000 views"
