LDA Design eyes planning expansion

Planning, design and environment consultancy LDA Design is looking to grow its planning team to meet increasing workloads. 

Planning director Paul Connelly (pictured) told Planning: “We operate in three key markets: development and regeneration; energy and infrastructure; and public realm. We have grown rapidly in the last few years and aim to keep growing to meet our client’s needs."

The firm is looking to recruit a principal planning consultant to its team, which is fully integrated with its design and environmental work, with around 11 chartered planners.

“The postholder will be based in Oxford or Exeter but will have responsibilities in support all of five offices. 

“They will lead a wide variety of projects, from town centre regeneration and urban expansions to low carbon energy and port development, taking them from feasibility to consent and implementation", said Connelly.
