Peter Lawson has been appointed as office director in Reading for consultancy Turley.

Lawson oversaw the opening of the office in March this year, and will become office director on a permanent basis after recruiting eight staff.

He was previously a director in Turley’s Bristol office, and has also worked in the Winchester and Bristol offices.

He will become responsible for the direction and management of the Turley Reading business unit, supported by co-owner and Reading director Tim Burden.

Burden has responsibility for the firm’s residential business in the sub-region.

Later this month, Turley’s Reading team will move to a new location at an office next to Reading’s mainline railway station.

Turley executive director Rob Peters said the establishment of the new Reading office is aimed at capturing growth opportunities presented in South East England.
