Consultancy Landmark Planning has announced two more appointments at its Leicester office, bringing its headcount to six.
Helen Wallis joins the firm as principal planner from Pegasus Planning Group, while Alan Siviter joins as senior planner from Chesterfield Borough Council.
Siviter’s appointment fills a vacancy in an existing position, while Wallis’ role represents an expansion of the team.
Associate director Lance Wiggins said Siviter was expected to broaden the consultancy’s policy work with extra focus on ongoing core strategy examinations, strategic land opportunities and five-year land-supply issues.
He said Wallis’ background was "largely in residential", which was a significant element of the company’s work and an area where an "upturn" was evident.
Wiggins said Landmark was particularly keen to look more closely at planning authorities on its patch that currently did not have core strategies in place.
It covers both the East and West Midlands from its Leicester base.
