Land promoter appoints planner

Property investment firm Northern Trust has appointed a planner to its land team.

In a statement, the firm said that Helen Ashworth has joined as a planner.  

Northern Trust said that Ashworth has worked in planning within local government for over 17 years, primarily covering development control.

The firm said that, in the last 24 months it has secured planning consent for around 4,500 residential units with an additional 1,500 units due to go to planning in the next 12 months.
