L&Q announces planning promotion and appointment

Strategic land company L&Q Estates has announced a promotion and an appointment in its planning department. 

Richard Edwards has been promoted to group planning director at the firm, and Russell Crow has joined as planning director. 

According to L&Q  Estates, Edwards has nearly 30 years’ experience as a town planner in both the private and public sector.

After starting his career at a local authority, he moved onto a consultancy before moving into the housebuilding sector at Barratt Developments and Redrow Homes. He joined L&Q Estates in November 2017.

Crow has over 10 years’ experience as a town planner in both the public and private sector as a consultant, working most recently as a regional director at land promoter Richborough Estates in Birmingham, L&Q said.
