A planning consultancy has reinforced an expansion that saw a new office opened last year with the recruitment of two new planners.

Hunter Page Planning (HPP), which cut the ribbon on its Swindon office in 2014, has taken on the two members of staff at its Cheltenham office.

James Griffin has joined as senior planner from Cotswold District Council.

Hywell James is a graduate planner and is being sponsored by HPP to do an MA in planning at Cardiff University.

Managing director Paul Fong told Planning: “The recruitment for our Cheltenham office marks part of a period of sustained expansion for the practice.

“Expansion is necessary to meet the demands of an ever increasing workload, particularly along the M4 corridor.”
