Iceni appoints associate planner

Claire WilkinsonConsultant Iceni Projects has expanded its planning team to help the firm grow its retail planning business and consolidate in other areas such as commercial and residential work.

Claire Wilkinson becomes an associate planner and will work on projects all over Britain for a number of existing clients.

Wilkinson, who moved from Rolfe Judd Planning where she was a senior planner, told Planning: “Iceni have increased workload in the last 12 months as commercial and residential markets grow.

“However retail is picking up as well and the company is keen to get more into specific retail planning,” said Wilkinson who reports to director Claire Day.

The new recruit worked at Harlow District Council and Ashfield District Council before switching to the private sector at Freeth Cartwright Solicitors, a planning specialist in Nottingham.
