HOW celebrates anniversary with new appointments

HOW plannersHOW Planning has made a series of appointments in its planning department as it celebrates its 15th anniversary.

The consultancy now has 30 staff following the recent recruitment drive, after beginning with a team of just three in 2001.

The firm has appointed James Berggren (pictured, left) as senior planner.

Joining from Sedgwick Associates, Berggren also spent spells at councils in Wigan and Bolton. He has a master’s in planning from the University of Manchester.

Isla Langmuir (middle) joins the firm as senior planner from developer Countryside, where she was a planning manager. She has a master’s in civic design from University of Liverpool.

Rachel Jones (right) joins as a planner from planning and development consultancy Hourigan Connolly in Manchester.

Promotions within the company include Jamie Lynch to environmental consultant, Rhian Harris to senior planner and Jon Power to principal planner.
